The mid-1640s marked the most prominent period for Fort Zeelandia. At that time, the three main sections of the fort had been formed: the Upper Main Fort (as a square plan with four bastions), the Lower Main Fort (as a four-pointed star plan with four round towers), and the Outer Fort (with two bastions and a round tower). Within the fortress, the construction of the Governor's House was also completed, and the church was inaugurated in 1645. To provide a better understanding of the fort's architectural appearance, we have overlaid the reconstructed plan onto the Cadastral Map of Anping (1927), allowing a comparison between the past and present.
